to have repeat clients. While I am grateful when people put their faith in me to turn out great images, I am deeply honored when they ask me for a second time (and hopefully third, fourth, etc!!!). This family was one of my very first family sessions, outside of my friends and family. I was happy to do their first session and even happier when the mom called me again this year. They are adorable little girls. Thank you!
the explorer, Boots is super cool explore with Dora…” Yes – that is what me and the girls’ mom sang for parts of this session. It actually brought back happy memories of singing it with my own kids! Thankfully no one has ever video taped me! I do whatever it takes to get the kids engaged and relaxed. Even if it take me looking a little nutty! Today was no exception. I think one of these days, I am going to rip the knees in my jeans while getting right down low to capture kids’ expressions. If I do, so be it, because it will be all worth while. I LOVE what I am doing, and have never been happier. I had a blast with this session and was thrilled that one of my old high school friends contacted me for it. It was a pleasure to see her and to meet her beautiful little girls. Here’s a quick peak of one of my latest sessions. As usual, I am behind in my blogging and will work backwards!
about this expression, but I LOVE it! I love capturing raw, candid images, especially ones full of emotion! If you are looking for images that completely freeze time, you have found the right person to do that. My ultimate goal for all of my session is to capture images that appeal to your senses. I want them to be REAL! While it’s nice to have posed images (and I will do that too), it’s even better to have candid photos that depict a certain time in your life — I want to do that for you! I love documenting the minute details that unfortunately could be forgotten without proof. My photos will do that for you — they tell a story.

Recently I photographed Good Sport’s Sixth Annual Legends of the Ball. “Good Sports mission is to increase youth participation in sports, fitness, and recreational programs by targeting one of major obstacles limiting participation-access to sports equipment.” (www.goodsports.org). Legends of the Ball is their big charity event of the year and with well over 400 people in attendance, the event was a huge success. The appearances of Red Sox team members, Manny Delcarmen, Victor Martinez, and Nick Green spurred some excitement. Additionally, the emcee’s for the event were Glenn Ordway from WEEI and Tom Carson from NESN. I had a blast, and look forward to working with Good Sports for future events.
I had so much fun with this little guy at the beach! He was one of the happiest babies I have ever seen, and he had no problem hamming it up for the camera. He was just full of smiles – he smiled and laughed at everything his mom did. I just kept snapping away. He never even got fussy and the only thing that brought the session to a close, was the sun going down. He never quit! With out further adieu, here is a preview to his session. I guarantee there will be many more great shots of him.

In my quest to get kids to smile and laugh, I always think of a fun word with which they can identify. Depending on their age or likes this can be quite varied. My goal is always to get them smiling and laughing naturally. On this night, I asked the boys to think of a something they liked and one of them shouted, “peaches.” Their parents thought this was hysterical considering that the boys didn’t even like peaches – who would have thought! In any event, we all had some fun with the word peaches. As you can see, these handsome men didn’t need very much help with their smiles – they were awesome! Here’s a glimpse of this fine session.
The other night I had the pleasure to photograph this handsome family. It was lots of fun to capture these cute boys with not only their parents, but their grandparents and uncle too! I am now inspired to get a picture of my family and extended family. Once again, I was blessed with a beautiful night. I have only begun to proof this session, but I suspect there will be many more good shots!
I am LOVING all of these pictures! I had so much fun with this session. Maybe it was the ice cream they were promised but more than likely they were just naturals in front of the camera – these kids were hamming it up! I just had to click away, and I was bound to get great shots. I can’t believe how much they look like miniatures of there parents. I have just begun to proof this session, and I can’t wait to see what else I have. Thanks for the great night!

I was so happy to able to capture this beautiful family on the beach – it was a gorgeous night! It was so nice to officially meet them and be able to connect their name to their faces. I now know I have seen this friendly family many times while taking walks on the beach but never knew them. Here’s is a quick preview of their session – I just love how the boys’ eyes sparkle!!!!
