To say I am thrilled to have crossed paths with Angela is an understatement. She is one of those people that I completely clicked with in the first few minute seconds! She is so kind, pleasant and easy to talk to. I immediately sensed I would be a good fit for her and Kyle’s wedding, and I am so happy they felt the same way. Then on the beautiful day of her engagement session, I got to meet Kyle and Ethan — they were equally as nice. As you can see, Ethan is adorable. I just loved how he smiled from ear to ear and was so well behaved too! I could have just taken him home, as he was that sweet! I think he will be a superb photographer’s assistent…. are you ready, Ethan? lol I am excited to shoot their wedding in just a few weeks. I can’t believe it’s almost here — see you in a few weeks!

….exciting new things!

February 3, 2012

So it’s been a while or actually way too long since I last posted!  I actually had to look up my login for my blog — not good!  I’m going to make my a better effort to document what I have been up to, going forward.  The fall was super busy and I tended to only post pictures on my fb page, which is great, but fb doesn’t always show pictures as nicely as here on the blog.  I also confess that not everything even made it to my fb page.  Well it’s a new year (albiet that we’re already into February).  Nonetheless, I am going to begin the year with a wonderful photography workshop I just atteneded.  It was the mj2day with Melissa Jill.  What can I say about it?  It was nothing short of FANTASTIC  (I would say AMAZING, but I completely over use that word and am trying to refrain! lol) Melissa is an extroidinary photographer, who I have admired for a while and was thrilled to be able to join her in in Phoenix this week.  She poured her heart and sole out in her workshop, which was delightful.  It’s not often that someone will share so much of there talent and knowledge, but she did, and she did so in such a personal and kind way.    I feel like she validated some of what I knew, while teaching me MUCH MUCH more!  I am extremely grateful for this experience.  Not only did I leave there with a wealth of information (yes my brain is on overload), I made 15 new friends!  How cool is that?

Part of the workshop included a mock engagement shoot, which included an already married couple, expecting their first baby! They were fabulous subjects and that beautiful baby bump made the session even more fun!  Not only did we have two gorgeous subjects, we also had some spectacular light!

Oh my goodness — I can’t believe I never posted these? I LOVED doing this session! Carly and Kyle are an awesome couple, and I’m not just saying that because Kyle is my cousin. I truly felt honored to do their engagement session, and I am so excited for their wedding next week. While this week, I am not a big fan of facebook, all in all, I am happy that it has brough me closer to my cousins. Kyle, I still can’t believe you are getting married as I remember when you were born. Carly, I am so happy I have gotten to know you! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness — here’s to the beginning of the rest of your life! Seven more days — can’t wait! :-)

Wow! Where do I begin? I usually try to post a few of my favorite images from every session to my blog, however I LOVE every picture from Summer and Dan’s engagement session. They both looked incredible and so much in love! It was truly an honor for me to photograph them at this special time.

Sarah & Brad…..

January 2, 2011

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure do so Sarah and Brad’s engagment photos. It was just a couple of days before Christmas and such a nice time to be walking through Boston Public Gardens. We even had a little bit of snow. I had met Brad at an event several months ago, but it was my first time meeting his lovely fiance, Sarah. They are a wonderful couple, and I am so excited for their wedding this summer. Here is a sneak peek of there session.

cindy & jeff…

July 25, 2010

Last night was I met Cindy & Jeff for their engagement session. We have been planning this for so long but the weather has had other plans. Seriously, who wants to get their pictures taken when the humidity is 90% and the temps are even higher? So last night, was below 90, and we had a plan. Then are plan was almost thwarted when the skies got pretty dark around 5:00 pm. Flexibility is definitely key when planning an out-door photography session and they were definitely flexible. We decided to make the call in a half hour and what do you know? By then the sun was shining! We started the session at their home with their baby, Naomi (their dog, who was very friendly!) We then went down to the beach to complete the session — it was beautiful there and so were they! I had so much fun. I hope you did too. I can’t wait for your wedding — what an awesome way to ring in the new year! Here’s a sneak peak….

I love Jeff's smile here!

I am so….

July 24, 2010

lucky!!! In just 24 hours, I was able to photograph two happy couples. I just finished uploading and backing up my session with Cindy and Jeff — it was awesome. While I am too exhausted to begin editing the session, I just had to share one image from tonight. It’s or should I say they are beautiful! Stay tuned there will be a longer post to follow….

We made it….

July 24, 2010

just before the rain! When Jen and Brian arrived at my house, a few sprinkles of rain began to fall. Jen said, “what’s a few sprinkles?” It was that care fee attitude that made this shoot such a success. Both Jen and Brian are so easy going, which made things easy for me — even when I called Brian “Steve”, oh about four times! I am so sorry about that! Brian’s children were great as well. His daughter even suggested spots and shots for us — thanks Kelsey! Fortunately as soon as those sprinkles stopped shortly after we began, and held off until we were done. The overcast sky worked in our favor, as we didn’t need to worry about any harsh sun. Here’s a preview of their engagement session. They all looked great and were naturals in front of the camera! I can’t wait for next June.

What a night….

July 7, 2009

Last night couldn’t have been better for Jaclyn and Ed’s engagement photo shoot. I am so happy we were finally able to accomplish it in between all the rain we have had. The location was beautiful and the couple is gorgeous! They were just so natural, and they made my job easy. I am so excited for their wedding next month. I have so many great images so it was difficult to narrow down a few. Without further adieu check out the happy couple…
