Simply sweet….

November 17, 2010

This session was a bit of a last minute one, but it was perfect! They did awesome meeting me early for it too. What a sweet brother and sister combo they are (as is their mom too)! Here is a quick glimpse into their session. I can’t wait to finish up the rest — they are looking fantastic!

I got my …..

first tip! lol After this fantastic session, this little guy took out one dollar and twenty-five cents to give me as a tip. He had told his parents prior to the session that he was going to do it — so cute! For the second year in a row, I had an awesome time with these kids. I can compeltely relate to them too, as my kids are the exact same ages as them. While I told some jokes in pursuit of “real” smiles, the smiles actually came with very little effort on my behalf — in fact, they made me laugh the entire time. They have the best little personalities and as you can see, they looked fantastic too. I can’t wait for their next session in February when they welcome their new baby brother or sister! Well without further adieu, here are some of their session highlights.

Stunning senior….

November 14, 2010

I have been dying to blog pictures from this session for four days!!! I finally had some time to resize them and upload them to my blog. This session is one of my most favorites so far and as you can see below, she is stunning! I love for people to be comfortable during a session, and I seldom like to pose them. First and foremost I let them stand or sit in a way that makes them comfortable. Then, if anything needs to be adjusted, I do that. On this day, however, I didn’t have to do a thing. She was so natural. We had so many laughs too. Here are a few of my favorites, but I tell you….. I think it might be difficult to choose. So far they are all awesome. Thanks for booking your senior session — it was a pleasure for me.

I am so lucky….

to be able to photograph such cute kids! I can’t imagine doing anything else — I have said it before, but I really do love my job. Each day is completely different. This little girl was so sweet and adorable. She had the cutest dress and all the accessories. I felt like she was in an American Girl advertisement. Here’s a quick glimpse of her session. If you’re thinking of booking a session, don’t wait — the weather is perfect for outdoor pictures and wouldn’t you love to have your Christmas cards all done by Thanksgiving? Here’s my Christmas gallery — all cards can be completely customized.

So much fun….

October 27, 2010

I am still amazed that I can have so much fun and still call this work! Last weekend was no exception. This session was in the works for a while, and I was thrilled to finally meet this wonderful family. It was such a relaxed session, as most of mine are. I felt like I was essentially shadowing them on a family hike with mostly candids, and a few posed shots. I love being able to record these kind of family moments, as they are precious. Here’s a little glimpse into their family day. Once again, I just might have to do a follow-up post — there are so many fabulous shots! Thanks for letting me be part of your day!

Oh man….

October 19, 2010

he IS too cute!! This little guy is one of the cutes babies I know. I met him when he was only a week old which, seems like yesterday (though at the same time, it seems like he’s always been here!) This is his third photo session and just when I think he couldn’t get any cuter, he does. I loved all his outfits — it was quite the fashion show. Except for his Halloween costume, he didn’t seem to mind the apparel! :-) Hopefully he’ll appreciate the costume pictures when he’s grown. Well take a look at this handsome little man — there will be many more great shots to follow! I can’t wait for his next session!

This past weekend was awesome for foliage, and I think we may have one more weekend in that same fashion! I was thrilled to meet up again with these handsome guys and their parents. It doesn’t seem like it’s been over a year since their last session but it was. What a difference a year makes, as they were hamming it up this time! I will probably say it a dozen more times in the next month, but I LOVE the fall! I still have limited session times this weekend if you’re seeking an outdoor session. Contact contact me soon, as the slots are filling. Here’s a sneak peek of these handsome little guys!

Two of my favorite….

October 13, 2010

little guys!!! It’s been a while since I have posted pictures to this blog of my family. While pictures of my boys and my niece and newphews are all over my facebook page, I seldom post them to here. However, my FAMILY is my inspiration for all of my photography! These guys are two of my newphews and I just love them! In addition to all the pictures I have of my own boys, I probably have even MORE of my niece and nephews. From now on, you just may see more family pictures so consider yourself warned! :-) My family is where my passion for photography flourished!

Fall fun….

October 12, 2010

I am finally finished blogging my most recent sessions! Now I have to spend some time and back track on the ones I missed at the end of the summer. I wanted to show the falls ones first to remind people to book their fall sessions now while the color is getting gorgeous. It’s only the beginning of the foliage season but it will come and go quickly, so don’t wait — book now! Here’s a few shots from a session I had with an adorable family this past weekend. This session was almost two years in the making, and I am so happy we finally pulled it off. It went great! I am always happy to meet new people — they are a great family! Without further adieu, take a look!

Fall is here…..

October 11, 2010

I love the, and it’s my favorite time for out-door pictures! While I am weeks behind in blogging, I can’t resist posting some sneak peeks of my sessions this weekend while they are fresh on my mind. Isn’t she sweet? I think the cool, crisp air might have been slightly shocking, but she warmed up to the camera in a little time. It’s so fun to see how babies respond to all the things in nature. She loved grabbing the grass. This session was the first of what will be many for me at one of my favorite venues. Here’s a quick preview but there will be more to come! If you’re looking for a wonderful spot for a fall session, message me at amykellyphotography@gmail.com. This is certainly an awesome spot. The foliage is starting to become brilliant. Don’t wait to book your session!
