I was so happy to see a little bit of sun this morning. In fact when the light gleamed through the shades, I jumped out of bed! Well the sun was short lived! It was already snowing out while I was on my way to my morning photo shoot. However, I got a bit of sunshine, nonetheless. It was in the shape of two precious infant twins and their adorable big sister! It might have been snowing and raining outside but there really was a bit of sunshine in the house. There is something so awesome about being able to photograph children – I just love it. Today was no exception. I had so much fun with these babies, and they were so good. I took everything about this session in -the baby sounds, smells, and all around cuteness. It was a pleasure to visit and meet these children. They surely made these images great. They are precious! A little random…..
February 19, 2010I was purging some images from my computer last night and came across this one. It was from last Columbus Day weekend at the Fryeburg Fair in Fryeburg, Maine — it was such a fun time. When I stumbled upon this picture, the colors in it jumped out at me. While it was taken in the fall, there’s something about the blueness of the sky that makes me think spring and summer!

February 7, 2010I had a wonderful maternity session yesterday with an old college friend and her husband (and of course spent the entire night dreaming about babies!!!) This session has been in the works for about three months now, and I can’t believed how quickly the time passed. There was so much excitement between these two people, as they await the arrival of their first baby! I seriously got butterflies in my stomach just witnessing thier joy and anticipation — their is no better gift than the gift of life and they have that! In just a few weeks, they will meet their precious baby. I was grateful to capture this special time for them. It was great to see you, Ludy and a pleasure to meet you, Pete! I am so happy for the both of you. I love they added element of surprise, where they do not know the baby’s sex. They do have names picked out though, so it was Pete’s idea to use the both names in a picture- great thinking!!! Here’s a quick glimpse of their session…

February 5, 2010A few weeks ago, I did a shoot for Liv Fitness, and I plan to share them soon. They will also appear on the Liv Fitness website. Today, Olivia from Liv Fitness asked me to take some additional pictures. While the last shoot consisted of people, this shoot were all objects from the studio. I was had a blast being creative and using light a little differently. Today I was reminded that is so much fun to go beyond my comfort zone. Here are a images from today.
