So much fun….

October 27, 2010

I am still amazed that I can have so much fun and still call this work! Last weekend was no exception. This session was in the works for a while, and I was thrilled to finally meet this wonderful family. It was such a relaxed session, as most of mine are. I felt like I was essentially shadowing them on a family hike with mostly candids, and a few posed shots. I love being able to record these kind of family moments, as they are precious. Here’s a little glimpse into their family day. Once again, I just might have to do a follow-up post — there are so many fabulous shots! Thanks for letting me be part of your day!

Another year….

October 25, 2010

Another year has passed since I first met this little guy and then I did another session just before Christmas. Once again, he did not disappoint in front of the camera — he was awesome! I especially like it when I asked him to sit on the grass, and he came over and sat in my lap — it was hysterical! Then at one point he even came over and took my hand to walk with me. While my days taking pictures are not just spent with toddlers, I do cherish the time that I can spend with children of that curious age it’s so fun to see them explore, especially out-doors. Here’s a sneak peek to his session and of course, there will be many more great images to follow.

Gorgeous….

October 21, 2010

I felt so fortunate to have a repeat session with this pretty lady! I LOVED our session last year, but this session was just AMAZING! I had a complete blast with this beautiful girl, who is beautiful on the inside and out! While I do not have girl of my own, I always have fun on my girly shoots! Her smile is radiating and after she warmed up, she was not shy in front of the camera at all. Here is but a few images — I am thinking another post will follow!

Oh man….

October 19, 2010

he IS too cute!! This little guy is one of the cutes babies I know. I met him when he was only a week old which, seems like yesterday (though at the same time, it seems like he’s always been here!) This is his third photo session and just when I think he couldn’t get any cuter, he does. I loved all his outfits — it was quite the fashion show. Except for his Halloween costume, he didn’t seem to mind the apparel! :-) Hopefully he’ll appreciate the costume pictures when he’s grown. Well take a look at this handsome little man — there will be many more great shots to follow! I can’t wait for his next session!

This past weekend was awesome for foliage, and I think we may have one more weekend in that same fashion! I was thrilled to meet up again with these handsome guys and their parents. It doesn’t seem like it’s been over a year since their last session but it was. What a difference a year makes, as they were hamming it up this time! I will probably say it a dozen more times in the next month, but I LOVE the fall! I still have limited session times this weekend if you’re seeking an outdoor session. Contact contact me soon, as the slots are filling. Here’s a sneak peek of these handsome little guys!

Two of my favorite….

October 13, 2010

little guys!!! It’s been a while since I have posted pictures to this blog of my family. While pictures of my boys and my niece and newphews are all over my facebook page, I seldom post them to here. However, my FAMILY is my inspiration for all of my photography! These guys are two of my newphews and I just love them! In addition to all the pictures I have of my own boys, I probably have even MORE of my niece and nephews. From now on, you just may see more family pictures so consider yourself warned! :-) My family is where my passion for photography flourished!

Fall fun….

October 12, 2010

I am finally finished blogging my most recent sessions! Now I have to spend some time and back track on the ones I missed at the end of the summer. I wanted to show the falls ones first to remind people to book their fall sessions now while the color is getting gorgeous. It’s only the beginning of the foliage season but it will come and go quickly, so don’t wait — book now! Here’s a few shots from a session I had with an adorable family this past weekend. This session was almost two years in the making, and I am so happy we finally pulled it off. It went great! I am always happy to meet new people — they are a great family! Without further adieu, take a look!

Fall Friday…..

October 11, 2010

Here’s a glimpse of a terrific session I had on Friday afternoon. I had been looking forward to this shoot at the Charlestown Navy Yard — I feel so lucky to have so many awesome locations near by! This was surely a great spot and of course, I had some fantastic subjects too! Once again, I love having repeat families and this is one of them. Here’s there session from last summer! These little girls were awesome — maybe models some day? lol There will be many more images from this shoot. Here’s the beginning!

I am loving these shoes!

Fall is here…..

October 11, 2010

I love the, and it’s my favorite time for out-door pictures! While I am weeks behind in blogging, I can’t resist posting some sneak peeks of my sessions this weekend while they are fresh on my mind. Isn’t she sweet? I think the cool, crisp air might have been slightly shocking, but she warmed up to the camera in a little time. It’s so fun to see how babies respond to all the things in nature. She loved grabbing the grass. This session was the first of what will be many for me at one of my favorite venues. Here’s a quick preview but there will be more to come! If you’re looking for a wonderful spot for a fall session, message me at amykellyphotography@gmail.com. This is certainly an awesome spot. The foliage is starting to become brilliant. Don’t wait to book your session!
