I never would have guessed that my work could be so close to home – I am so lucky to live across from the beach! I had another beautiful family portrait session on the beach the other night and what an adorable family! I know what it’s like to be the mom, wondering if the kids will cooperate for pictures – in fact, that is one reason I turned towards photography. Too often I would take my children for pictures only to be disappointed – it was stressful. I love my job and strive to make people (especially moms) comfortable. I want to capture children doing what they do best, which being kids. On this night, I promised the mom (who also happens to be my cousin) I would get great pictures, and I did just that. Without the children even realizing it, I captured their personalities. Here’s a sneak peek of the session and there’s lots more to come.
