This session has been in the works for some time and one of the last night’s in August proved to be a perfect night for a portrait session! What a location and what a beautiful girl! We definitely had some fun and amazingly enough I did not fall while I was in the water! Here are some of my favorites from this session.

Aren’t they little darlings? They are so adorable and were great for this session. It was a gorgeous night, and the light was perfect. Sessions like this just reinforce how much I love what I do. I had just spent the day at the beach with my own family and made it home just in time to have more fun with these little girls. What could be better? I think they had fun too! Here’s a glimpse into their session — Caution cuteness alert!
While I hope the weather proves me wrong, I am not sure how many gorgeous nights for the beach there will be before we transtion to fall sessions. Summer Fun …..Dennisport
July 20, 2011Last night was such a gorgeous night, and it was perfect for this family’s beach session! I was so fortunate to be able to travel to Dennisport to photograph them while they were on vacation. It was the first time I had met all of them, and they did great in front of the camera. Even the little babies did a great job. I had so much fun and am happy I was able to capture this families memories. Here’s a quick preview of the session! August 23, 2010Oh my goodness!!! I must have sounded completely crazy the other night. While you would never know it based on the fantastic expressions below, the little guy was very reluctant to sport a smile! I should say EXTREMELY reluctant! He wanted no part of the camera at all! We talked about Thomas the Train, Diego, Dora, Santa Claus, fire engines, police cars, motor cycles, etc. — nothing mattered! That was until I let out a roar of a burp! Yes that’s right — I belched to get him to smile and laugh! Before you think it was accidentall and I was just covering for myself, I promise it was completely planned. It was my final attempt to get a smile before I stood on my head (and of course it would have been pretty hard for me to snap any pics standing on my head! lol In any event, my efforts worked. He smiled, and I got some terrific shots. These little ones are absolutely adorable and while, it may not be a great thing, I can now add “deliberate belching” to my repertoire of ways to make children laugh and avoiding those fake smiles that result from saying “cheese”!!! (I hate saying chesse — it does NOT work!) Well here you have it…… a a few burps that resulted in some great shots! Oh and by the way, I did say “excuse me”! ha ha ha

June 19, 2010Last night had to have been the best night of this spring — it was gorgeous!!! While it may have been a little hot, there was a beautiful breeze down at the beach. I was thrilled to have a beach session. This was another session that was rescheduled a few times due to the rainy weather, but I am so happy we waited. I must say that this little guy was one of the happiest babies I have ever met (and really cute too!!!) He was so easy going. I think it’s awesome that this session documented his first time at the beach (or the first time he really experienced the sand) — he was fascinated by it! Here’s a little glimpse to the session but there is lots more to come!

September 23, 2009about this expression, but I LOVE it! I love capturing raw, candid images, especially ones full of emotion! If you are looking for images that completely freeze time, you have found the right person to do that. My ultimate goal for all of my session is to capture images that appeal to your senses. I want them to be REAL! While it’s nice to have posed images (and I will do that too), it’s even better to have candid photos that depict a certain time in your life — I want to do that for you! I love documenting the minute details that unfortunately could be forgotten without proof. My photos will do that for you — they tell a story.

What a cute little man….
September 14, 2009I had so much fun with this little guy at the beach! He was one of the happiest babies I have ever seen, and he had no problem hamming it up for the camera. He was just full of smiles – he smiled and laughed at everything his mom did. I just kept snapping away. He never even got fussy and the only thing that brought the session to a close, was the sun going down. He never quit! With out further adieu, here is a preview to his session. I guarantee there will be many more great shots of him.

Ice Cream….
September 3, 2009I am LOVING all of these pictures! I had so much fun with this session. Maybe it was the ice cream they were promised but more than likely they were just naturals in front of the camera – these kids were hamming it up! I just had to click away, and I was bound to get great shots. I can’t believe how much they look like miniatures of there parents. I have just begun to proof this session, and I can’t wait to see what else I have. Thanks for the great night!

Summer night….
September 2, 2009I was so happy to able to capture this beautiful family on the beach – it was a gorgeous night! It was so nice to officially meet them and be able to connect their name to their faces. I now know I have seen this friendly family many times while taking walks on the beach but never knew them.
