So much fun….

October 27, 2010

I am still amazed that I can have so much fun and still call this work! Last weekend was no exception. This session was in the works for a while, and I was thrilled to finally meet this wonderful family. It was such a relaxed session, as most of mine are. I felt like I was essentially shadowing them on a family hike with mostly candids, and a few posed shots. I love being able to record these kind of family moments, as they are precious. Here’s a little glimpse into their family day. Once again, I just might have to do a follow-up post — there are so many fabulous shots! Thanks for letting me be part of your day!

Oh man….

October 19, 2010

he IS too cute!! This little guy is one of the cutes babies I know. I met him when he was only a week old which, seems like yesterday (though at the same time, it seems like he’s always been here!) This is his third photo session and just when I think he couldn’t get any cuter, he does. I loved all his outfits — it was quite the fashion show. Except for his Halloween costume, he didn’t seem to mind the apparel! :-) Hopefully he’ll appreciate the costume pictures when he’s grown. Well take a look at this handsome little man — there will be many more great shots to follow! I can’t wait for his next session!

Fall is here…..

October 11, 2010

I love the, and it’s my favorite time for out-door pictures! While I am weeks behind in blogging, I can’t resist posting some sneak peeks of my sessions this weekend while they are fresh on my mind. Isn’t she sweet? I think the cool, crisp air might have been slightly shocking, but she warmed up to the camera in a little time. It’s so fun to see how babies respond to all the things in nature. She loved grabbing the grass. This session was the first of what will be many for me at one of my favorite venues. Here’s a quick preview but there will be more to come! If you’re looking for a wonderful spot for a fall session, message me at amykellyphotography@gmail.com. This is certainly an awesome spot. The foliage is starting to become brilliant. Don’t wait to book your session!

What a beautiful day….

September 22, 2010

and a beautiful family! I had a blast meeting up with this family the other day — both the weather and location were gorgeous! It was a last minute thing, but it worked out perfectly . The sneak preview tells it all, but there is lots more to come.

Cool beach pics….

September 4, 2010

This was such a great night for beach pictures. I love living so close to the beach — and this spot on the beach is a hidden gem! It was a great combination of a great location and an equally great looking family! Here’s a sneak peek of their session! There is still time to book your family beach session. amykellyphotography@gmail.com to reserve your session!

Three in a row….

September 4, 2010

I was so happy to meet up with the beautiful O’Sullivan girls for the third year in a row. It’s so fun to see how children grow and change. This was the first year that there were no tears from the twins — yeah!!! I think they even had fun. Thanks for another year, and look forward to photographing you in the years to come!

I almost forgot….

July 18, 2010

to post this wonderful session to my blog! I was in such a rush before vacation that a few sessions have still not made it to my blog. Nonetheless this session turned out awesome, as these two brothers rocked it! They were so photogenic, despite the heat. The location, provided some good shade and also good light for a late morning shoot (which would not have worked out just anywhere). Here’s a glimpse of the session….

Brothers….

June 23, 2010

This was such a special shoot. It wasn’t just a two year old shoot or a senior shoot. Instead it combined the two, as it was for two brothers — one who is two years old and the other who is eighteen years old. The older brother will be leaving for college this summer so it documents a really special time for them. Both boys were so handsome and photogenic. It was also obvious to me that, though spread apart in years, they were very close. The little guy adored his big brother and the older guy was so loving and patient with him. I really enjoyed getting to capture this special time. I love that many of the photos were candid. I think they will be very special in the years to follow. Best of luck to the recent graduate – I think you’ll always have a very special little man always looking up to you!

What a night!!!

June 19, 2010

Last night had to have been the best night of this spring — it was gorgeous!!! While it may have been a little hot, there was a beautiful breeze down at the beach. I was thrilled to have a beach session. This was another session that was rescheduled a few times due to the rainy weather, but I am so happy we waited. I must say that this little guy was one of the happiest babies I have ever met (and really cute too!!!) He was so easy going. I think it’s awesome that this session documented his first time at the beach (or the first time he really experienced the sand) — he was fascinated by it! Here’s a little glimpse to the session but there is lots more to come!

If anyone has interest in a beach or summer session — contact me now to reserve your session. Summer dates are filling fast! Enjoy this beautiful weekend.

His laugh was contagious!

The calm…..

June 14, 2010

in between the storms — or so this portrait session seemed. This session had been in the works since March, however the weather had a different plan for us — every time we planned to meet, it rained. Well this past Saturday we had some luck, as least for a little while (then the rain started again). Nevertheless, we got it done! The light was perfect very early Saturday morning and these adorable babes were awesome! I am so happy that we finally connected (and coincidentally the mom and I knew each other but didn’t realize until we met!) These children made the session easy for me with all their “cuteness”! Of course, the starbursts and popcorn helped a tiny bit too! ;-) Here’s a preview of their session….
